Friday, 26 March : The Influential Sensory Environment
Erikson Institute Erikson Institute 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Register Now Environment is defined as the sum total of the elements, factors, and conditions in the surroundings that act upon an organism, determining its form and survival, and as the aggregate of social and cultural conditions that influence the life of an individual or community. In this workshop we will examine each of these definitions from a sensory processing perspective. We’ll explore the places where we work, play, care for, and live with young children. Together we will identify ways to make these environments fluid, flexible, and responsive to the child’s unique sensory processing needs.
